BIO

April is a singer-songwriter whose music reflects a wide spectrum of influences. Raised on her parents’ record collection, she drew early inspiration from artists such as Dolly Parton, The Traveling Wilburys, and ABBA, later shaped by the grunge movement of the Pacific Northwest in the 1990s and the immersive electronic soundscapes of Burning Man.
She spent nearly two decades as a bassist in a range of projects spanning rock, jazz, and alt-country before shifting her focus to songwriting and releasing music as a solo artist. Her work moves seamlessly between alternative rock, indie and blues-influenced singer-songwriter, and cinematic pop, blending atmospheric textures with emotional depth and a strong sense of narrative.
Continuing to evolve her sound, April is currently developing new material that further explores the space between genres while deepening her distinctive artistic voice.
